This project concerns the creation of a space for the purpose of housing an architectural and a real estate office, in a small traditional settlement, Vamos, in the prefecture of Chania. The central axis of the design was the effort to highlight the qualities of the space with a simultaneous goal to serve the needs of a modern workplace. One of its main elements is the load-bearing masonry made of stone, as an attempt to highlight the traditional identity of the settlement. No partitions were placed internally as the goal of the design was to create a collective workspace.

The initial phase of the construction was the dismantling of the old coatings, with the aim of revealing the masonry. Dry construction was then placed on the ceilings, in order to place the hidden lighting and to highlight the textures of the re-grouted wall. The pre-existing mosaic was restored on the floor, as a further attempt to communicate with the past.
The furniture has been designed by the team of Zeropixel Architects, using metal and wood in order to integrate a modern hue in the traditional environment. The wooden linear luminaires that were installed are a reference point in the work of Zeropixel Architects, highlighting the clean lines and geometries. There was an old grape press in the area which remained in the area, as a reminder of the necessary manual work in order for the architectural plans and ideas to become a practice and a material. The wooden frames were preserved, and the signs were made of corten, in which hidden lighting was placed.
